Welcome to the 2022 Chadds Walk Tidal Waves Swim Team! We are thrilled to have your swimmers with us this summer and we have an amazing set of coaches lined up to make sure they learn a lot, but most importantly have FUN!

Addi Moss will be leading the team alongside Ainsley Clark, Addison Clark, Dottie Walker, Thomas Ford and Jack Ford. They can’t wait to see familiar faces and welcome new ones!

In preparation for the season, we have a few action items:

1. Reminder that the swimsuit try-ons are next Sunday, April 24 from 2-4pm at the Edgemere Clubhouse (4327 Edgemere Drive). This will be the last day to place swimsuit orders for our team suits this season to ensure we can get them in time for the first meet on 5/31. If you are unable to attend the try-ons but would still like a fitting, you may head up to All-American Swim (885 Woodstock Rd, Roswell, GA 30075) and let them know you need a fitting for the Chadds Walk Swim team. Please complete this try-on prior to April 24^th. Otherwise, swimsuits will be delivered at the first day of practice.
2. We still need some parent help leading the team this season. Please let us know if you can help volunteer in the positions of Ribbon Chair, Volunteer Chair, or Meet Announcer. Please note that every swimmer will need one parent to volunteer for a volunteer shift during every meet your child attends but the roles above are key to ensuring the swim team runs smoothly! Reach out to us at [email protected] to raise your hand for the above positions. We will send out information in the coming weeks about volunteering for shifts during the meets.
3. Please take the time to join our Facebook group and also to download the SwimTopia app, as that is how we will send any inclement weather announcements and you can track your swimmer’s races through the app. Click here to download for Apple and here for Android (or visit your app store). There is a paid version but you don’t need to purchase that version to get what you need.
4. Drop off your checks to 2139 Spindrift Ct. as soon as possible if you selected check as your form of payment during registration. Checks should be made out to Chadds Walk Tidal Waves.
5. Some important date reminders (full calendar is attached):

• April 24^th: Swimsuit Try-ons
• April 30^th: Registration closes for 2022 (make sure your kids’ friends have signed up!)
• May 18^th: First After School & Night practice for all swimmers
• May 25^th: No practice (Last Day of School!)
• May 26^th: First Morning Practice; Night Practice Time Trials
• May 31: First Swim Meet (Away @ Hampton Woods)
