6/12 Final Pre-Meet Details and Heat Sheets
Parents,
We are excited for our HOME meet tomorrow with Hampton Woods! A few details:
Arrival: Team group photo will be taken promptly at 4:45pm so that we can start warm-ups on time before the swim meet. Please plan to give yourself time to park and get settled so your swimmer is there a little before 4:45. If your swimmer is not there, they will not be in the photo. Please wear your team swimsuit and/or your CW Tidal Waves t-shirt or other blue shirt for the picture.
Parking: Please pay attention and do not park on the side of the street with "no parking" signs so emergency vehicles can access if needed. Please also do not park in other people's driveways on Spindrift. Carpool if you can to leave space for our visitors. If you notice anyone double parking, please let one of the Board members (pink tanks) know so we can make an announcement.
Volunteers: We still have a couple of volunteer positions open and some families are not yet signed up. Remember, if your child is swimming, we need you to help us out and fill a spot to help the meet run smoothly! Please check in at the volunteer table upon arrival, even if working the second shift. This helps us know who is there and prevents us from searching for volunteers during the meet! We also appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we sometimes have to shift slots around. If you are in the 2nd shift, please listen for the switchover.
Concessions: We will have pizza, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, fruit, candy, water and soft drinks. Cash and Venmo only please!
Theme: Our theme this week is CW Tidal Waves Blue Out! Parents, friends, and swimmers feel free to come dressed in theme! Leave faces clean for the group photo!
Heat Sheets: Events are posted in Swimtopia. Also see the attached Heat Sheets by name pdf. Remember to mark up your swimmers before arrival!
Events: Please help us ensure your swimmers are lined up in their lane 3 events prior to their event. This helps the coaches not have to chase as much!
Email [email protected] with any questions. Go tidal waves!
