6/9 Final Pre-Meet Details - Hampton Woods

We are excited for our AWAY meet Monday 6/9 at Hampton Woods! A few details:
Address: 892 Chestnut Lake Dr Marietta 30068 in Hampton Woods subdivision
Warmups: Our team will begin warming up promptly at 5:30 pm and the meet starts at 6 pm. Please give yourself time to park and get settled prior to warm-ups. Swimmers need to be ready to jump in the water when their age group is called!
Parking: Attached is a map to Hampton Woods which highlights parking. Everyone should plan to park on the open sides of Chestnut Lake Dr. and Hampton Woods Dr.; however, please do not block driveways, mailboxes, fire hydrants, stop signs, or crosswalks. There may be “no parking” signs along the street too. In areas without these signs, please only park one side of the street to ensure that thru traffic can easily pass. Clubhouse parking will be mostly reserved for the race official, coordinators, and coaching staff.
Volunteers: Please check in at the CW volunteer table upon arrival, even if working the second shift. This helps us know who is there and prevents us from searching for volunteers during the meet! We also appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we sometimes have to shift slots around. If you are in the 2nd shift, please listen for the switchover.
Seating: CW spectator seating will be along the pool side of the tennis courts. We are welcome to use the elevated covered pavilion, too. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own tailgate chair(s) for more seating. Once the seating area on the pool deck is filled, HW asks that additional spectators set up in the covered pavilion above the pool.
Diving: Hampton Woods pool has shallow ends at both ends of the pool, with the deep area in the middle. We are required to dive from a seated position for all races, for the safety of the swimmers.
Concessions: Hampton Woods will have concessions available and typically has pizza, Chick fil-A, and plenty of snacks, candy and beverages. They accept cash and Venmo.
Theme: Our theme this week is NEON! Parents, friends, and swimmers feel free to come dressed in theme!
Heat Sheets: Events will be posted in Swimtopia and we will share a Heat Sheet pdf when it is available. Remember to mark up your swimmers before arrival! Instructions can be found here.
Events: Please help us ensure your swimmers are lined up in their lane 3 events prior to their event. This helps the coaches not have to chase as much!
