That's a Wrap Tidal Waves!
Hello Tidal Wave families!
Thank you for an incredible season, and we hope you guys had as much fun as we did. Please take note of a few items below, and we look forward to seeing y'all in 2026.
THANK YOU: We want to extend a big thank you to our amazing coaches and parent volunteers, specifically those who served on the board. Head Coach Ainsley Clark, Assistant Head Coach Katherine Hay, and Assistant Coaches Will Walker, Addison Clark, Emma Perkins, and Laurel Walker did an incredible job leading our tidal waves to a four win season!! We also truly appreciate our junior coaches, Lila Chotiner, Logan McIntosh, and Avery Ellis, who made our successful rookie program possible. Finally, thank you to the parents who served on our board, and went over and above to make sure the season happened. We appreciate Kristin Halbert, Amy Nadel, Julia May, Miranda Tuggle, Meghann Boyd, Sarah Dockrell, Samantha Cassidy, Meg Johnson, Claire Chotiner, Stephanie Brown, Erin Bober, Nancy Albin, and Bonnie Willi. Thank you also to our coordinators, Suzy Schuchart and Kelly Hall.
RIBBONS AND AWARDS: If you missed our party last night, we tried to send your medal, ribbons, and paper plate awards home with friends. If you still have ribbons in the ribbon box, it will be available in the bin outside 4343 Sprucebough Dr through the end of day Friday. After that, you will have to wait until next season and hope they are still there :) See some pictures attached from the awesome party last night!
CONGRATULATIONS: Our team had a great season, and we would encourage you to check out all of the record holders on our website! We also had a few swimmers compete at the Patti Wilder regional meet last weekend, and we look forward to taking many more swimmers next year. We had two swimmers qualify for afternoon finals, and Everett Hodge finished 7th for the IM and 14th for Fly, while Michaela Hart finished 10th in 25 freestyle, 6th in breast and 18th in IM. Additionally, Madison Willi finished 8th in the 6 and under age group in the morning competition.
VOLUNTEERS: With the exception of our paid coaches, swim team is an organization that is entirely run by volunteers. We cannot function without the help of parents, and we hope that some of you will consider getting more involved next season. If you would like to serve on our board, please email us, and let us know! There is a place for you with the Tidal Waves!NOTE FROM THE COORDINATORS: We have loved serving the swim team as your coordinators this year, and are SO appreciative of your generous gifts to us. Go Tidal Waves!-Kelly and Suzy
Enjoy the rest of your summer! See you next season!
