Happy last day of school, Cobb families! NO practices today. 

We have time trials tomorrow, offered at both practice times.

4-6 year olds 8:30-9:00 AM
7-8 year olds 9:00-9:45 AM
9-10 year olds 9:45-10:30 AM
11 and up 10:30-11:15 AM

4-6 year olds 5:00-5:30 PM
7-8 year olds 5:30-6:00 PM
9-10 year olds 6:00-6:30 PM
11 and up 6:30-7:00 PM

We ask that you only attend one offered practice time tomorrow, no matter what age you are. For those of you who have never participated in a time trial, it is a very, very

casual "swim meet practice." The coaches will have timers, and will time our swimmers individually to get an idea of what their best strokes are, and where to place them for our first meet.

For your reference, these are the strokes competed by age:

6 and under - 25 Free, 25 Back, Free Relays (each leg is 25)

7/8 - 25 Free, 25 Back, 25 Breast, 25 Fly, 50 Free, 100 IM, All relays (each leg is 25)

9/10 - 25 Free, 25 Back, 25 Breast, 25 Fly, 50 Free, 100 IM, All relays (each leg is 25) 

11 and older - 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 Free, 100 IM, All relays (each leg is 50). 

The swimmers will have the opportunity to try all of the strokes they are comfortable with. If you cannot attend time trials, the coaches will use last season's times, or their best assessment of your swimmer so far this season. After the first meet, the recorded times will become your new time. 

For our non-competitive swimmers (4 and some 5 year olds), please also only attend one of the two practice times offered for your age group. 

Lastly, our first meet is one week from today. Please do not forget to mark your attendance by Friday morning here
