Parents,

We are excited for our last meet Tuesday 6/23 AWAY at Paces Ferry Park! See a few details below. Also, when you are at practice Monday and Tuesday please check the Spindrift lost and found. There are quite a few items and these will be tossed after the end of season party!

Warmups: Our team will begin warming up promptly at 5:30 pm and the meet starts at 6 pm. Please give yourself time to park and get settled prior to warm-ups. Swimmers need to be ready to jump in the water when their age group is called!

Parking: The pool parking lot will be closed. Street parking throughout the neighborhood is along the sidewalk side of the street ONLY. Carpool if you can!

Pool: Paces Ferry Park is a 5 lane pool with no dive blocks. Swimmers will do sit dives to start each race on both ends. Our team area will be on the side of the pool closest to the parking lot. There will be a table under the pavilion for our team check-in. They ask that spectating be done along the fence outside the pool enclosure. Parents may enter the pool to watch their swimmer's race, then return to outside the pool enclosure.

Volunteers: Please check in with the CW volunteer coordinators (Sarah Dockrell or Julia May) upon arrival, even if working the second shift. This helps us know who is there and prevents us from searching for volunteers during the meet! We also appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we sometimes have to shift slots around. If you are in the 2^nd shift, please listen for the switchover. 

Please note that while we understand there are last minute circumstances that arise, such as family emergencies or sickness, other cancellations put a heavy burden on volunteers, coordinators, coaches, etc. If you wish to cancel your volunteer shift at the last minute, for any reason other than a family emergency or illness, you are responsible for finding another parent to take your shift.

Concessions: They are known for their concessions! Salads, smash burgers, fun drinks, cake pops, and more! Come hungry!

Theme: Our theme this week is PINK out for breast cancer awareness. Parents, friends, and swimmers feel free to come dressed in theme!

Heat Sheets: Events will be posted in Swimtopia and we will share a Heat Sheet pdf when it is available. Remember to mark up your swimmers before arrival! Instructions can be found here.

Events: Please help us ensure your swimmers are lined up in their lane 3 events prior to their event. This helps the coaches not have to chase as much!
